More on the $100 Laptop aka One Laptop per Child

It seems that if this laptop is made, it could change the face of mobile computing. Will Dell and HP replicate the product for Mommy and Daddy, or will adults still have to pay two grand for a similar mobile device? Imagine a World with Goggle Wifi, Open source everything, and this $100 laptop. Everyone could drop cable for IPTV, BitTorrents, and drop your Phone service for VOIP, and store your files on nas.google.com. No more Cell phone overages and no more pay per views. Unfortunately, I can foresee the technology being more possible than Congress letting the Wifi happen. Maybe we can have it all. At least the talk of it is a start.
